Photographs rank very high on my priority list, and a picture that can capture and communicate the essence of a moment in time is truly precious. Lisa’s photography does just that, and that’s why we were overjoyed to have her not just as my bridesmaid, but also our wedding photographer. Lisa took care of all the logistics and walked us through the entire process, all while maximizing our time for bride and groom pictures. She freed us up to be at ease and completely confident on our wedding day of how the day would go. Every single picture turned out so beautifully! Lisa caught the light just perfectly and created images that are gorgeous, perfect, and look alive! It was so special to relive our ceremony and reception thanks to Lisa’s impeccable timing and attention to detail. My husband and I are both really quiet, awkward, and nervous about having professional pictures made. We had no idea what to expect. Lisa made the shoot so much fun! She was able to capture the love we have for one another and our free spirits. Every single smile and laugh captured is so sincere and beautiful. I am so thankful we got to work with Lisa!

We looked at over 20 photographers for our wedding (I wanted the best of course!) and Lisa Goodin really stood out to us. We were very impressed by the quality of photos on her website, but even more impressed by how she reached out to us over the phone and over coffee before we even decided to have her as our photographer. Talented, period. Lisa is one of the most well rounded photographers I have met. She never lacks in creativity, is continually studying, practicing, and pushing herself to be a better photographer- and it shows. It is obvious both in her time behind the lens and the computer, that she takes no shortcuts. Lisa Goodin Photography is the best- we absolutely love the photos she has taken of our family, and only wish we lived closer so we could hire her more often!

Lisa did an amazing job with everything from understanding our requests and vision for our photos, taking them, and making sure that she provided us with the best end result possible. We could not have asked for a better experience; Lisa is amazing at her work and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. We are not from the area, but knew we wanted the gorgeous mountains and changing leaves in our engagement pictures. We had also never taken professional pictures and were nervous about the session. Lisa recommended the perfect place with both the changing leaves and the stunning mountain views as well as made us feel so comfortable and natural throughout our entire session. We had also decided to have a longer engagement and the chaos of life occasionally takes away the excitement from the engagement. However, Lisa’s enthusiasm for us and her beautiful pictures reignited our anticipation for our wedding. We are beyond lucky and blessed to have had Lisa as our photographer!

Little did we know when we found Lisa for our engagement pictures that it would be one of the best experiences leading up to our big day. Lisa’s professionalism, quality of work and ability to set you at ease while still having a great time is immeasurable. Her kind words, encouragement, and wonderful character has definitely made her our future family photographer for life. Nathan surprised me for my birthday by hiring Lisa after an extensive web search. He was immediately drawn to Lisa's page through the style and quality of work shown. This was our first couples session and Lisa was incredibly professional, kind-hearted, and warm during our session. She was also was incredibly creative with the outdoor space, generating ideas to capture the perfect lighting and making us feel comfortable the entire time. Our photos turned out better than we could have ever imagined. Lisa took time to become invested in our session before, during, and after our time and it is very evident how passionate she is about photography. We definitely look forward to using her again as our photographer for many occasions to come!

Ben and I could not have been more blessed to have found Lisa to take our engagement photos. Working with Lisa was an amazing experience. She was so engaging with our 3 year old daughter and got her smiling quickly – and kept her smiling (amazingly) throughout our session. But most importantly of all is that once we received the pictures they were AMAZING! The quality and the types of shots were incredible. Some posed and some action shots – she captured the essence of our family and personality of my daughter perfectly! This was our fourth family photoshoot but first with Lisa and by far the photos and the experience with Lisa was the best yet!

In every experience with great photographers, there is always a moment that stands out. When I looked over at Lisa during our maternity session and saw her- several weeks more pregnant than my wife was- lying on the ground for that perfect shot, I knew we had chosen the BEST photographer for our new family. In every interaction with Lisa she was kind, gentle, and professional. She made every moment for Amanda, myself, and our little Meredith perfect. On top of all this extra stuff, our pictures were FANTASTIC! We would highly recommend Lisa for your photography needs.
