As my own babies are growing and my youngest will be two in a few months (how can that be?!), newborn sessions are becoming even sweeter to me with each and every one. This one was no exception. And this precious baby girl was only four days old! Oh, the sweet squeaks and scents and cries of brand new life – I love every tiny little thing about it all!
It always feels surreal and is such a humbling privilege to walk into a family's home in their first days of being there with their brand new child. This sweet little love stole my heart the second I laid eyes on her. It took everything in me not to cover her in kisses! Instead, I relished the opportunity to see her adoring parents dote on their girl all morning as they made being mom and dad look like the most natural thing they'd ever done. And on day four! Seriously, it took all of 60 seconds for me to see that these two were made for this. They have already shown a quickness to sacrifice for their child, putting her needs and best interest far above their own. They are gentle and kind as can be, thoughtful with their words and servant-hearted in deed. Their sweet girl is in the very best hands! I am so grateful to have gotten to capture this wonderful time in this amazing family's life!
