Every wedding has at least one thing that sets it apart and makes it especially memorable. Sarah and Rudy's had plenty more than one, from the flower arrangements and cake, to the incredible live band. Not mention the oysters and prime rib, and a crowd that could put any crowd to shame on the dance floor! But my personal favorite part of their day was even better than all those.
Relaxed and intimate. Celebratory and joyful! Those are the words I would use to describe Sarah and Rudy's ceremony; my favorite part of their day! The two of them walked in together from the side, warmly greeting guests as they made their way to the alter alongside their ring bearer, Sarah's nephew. They exchanged grins many times after stationing themselves up front. Then midway through the ceremony, Rudy surprised Sarah with personal vows he had written for her. She was reduced to tears by the second sentence, and then nearly falling over belly laughing (along with everyone else present!) a few sentences later. And then came the very best moment of all: the first kiss and the moment right after. Sarah erupted into a giggly grin ear to ear, then turned to her guests and shouted, "FINALLY! I'M MARRIED" It was a moment of pure joy and everyone on that balcony felt it!
What a treat it was to be a part of Sarah and Rudy's incredible special day. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
